My wife can handle a big hog so my truck is no problem.

I let a gf drive mine once. And she put it into park at about 35 mph. I heard all sorts of **** banging and I thought for sure my trans was toast. But I got lucky and it has been fine since.

I let my wifey drive it when I'm not using it, and she treats it perfectly. I even taught her how to put it in 4 wheel high and low, and how to park it far away from other cars in parking lots that might inadvertently door ding it.
Although I'm never begging her to take it, I don't want her to be completely without experience behind it either. Should she ever need to drive it in an emergency situation, I just figure that would be a horrible time to learn.

The wife wont drive my truck. She gets nervous.
I had her drive on the way home from vacation last summer so I can get some needed nap time but after 20 minutes of driving in heavy traffic she pulled over so I can drive again. She got too nervous with all the traffic.

On a side note, I did get fall asleep and felt great after 20 minutes of shut eye.

Of course, it's heavily insured. Actually she has an Expedition so she can handle it fine.
