Is the new speedo and dash totally necessary? From my understanding of your post about the conversion, it look like all that is done solely to install the air temperature sensor. Could this not be routed from some where else like maybe under the dash? or I was even thinking of taking about my ash tray and installing it there. along with a modified cover with some aftermarket switches
If you swap to a Lariat cluster you will want to swap the bezel out because the lariat cluster's buttons are mounted to the bezel

Bad as.s write up Thisguy'.
Collecting all the parts now to upgrade my '06 XLT. Best score has been a Lariat cluster with mileage just a couple thousand ahead of mine, just gotta wait to catch up and swap. I haven't pulled the cluster apart yet, was wondering if the 'Lariat' logo in the center is a knock-out thus allowing the gear selection display to install in its place. Do you know?

Where is the electronic blower motor speed controller located? Found a late model salvage company in Portland, Oregon that I want to contact for these components you've listed for the swap. The other tough part I'm looking for is the Lariat stereo/climate bezel for a column shifted truck.
(Found a bezel in tonights parts quest lol. EATC control module, blower speed controller and interior sensor tube is the last of my search. Is $99 reasonable for the EATC?)

hey, i just tried a lariat cluster in my truck, the truck had an auto setup in it already from a cab swap i did so the last part was the cluster for the ac to work.. everything in the ac system is tested and working but when i put the new cluster in the ac still did not work.. would i need to remove and re install the battery for it to realize the change?
the wrecker and dealer both told me it had to be the exact cluster matching the engineering number to work? is this true?
thanks

Also as 94f1504x4I6 asks, the PCM/ECU is "knowing" of this feature as well. Simply putting in a cluster from one of the models that had the auto climate feature will not fix that. The PCM/ECU would need to be reflashed.
