if im just running stock size 2.5 inch pipes with no muffler or resonator just straight pipes, is the 6" round straight thru magnaflow muffler in link above likely to do much to cancel or attenuate the drone i get at about 1750 -2000 rpm?

Might be pretty similar to my trucks set up. I have the banks Monster SISO. The muffler is comparable in size to that one. But 3" pipes from the cat back. But it doesn't have drone on highway cruising. It's loud at acceleration but pretty much stock at cruising speeds.
