Horrible mpg help

Me. My edge evo says a little better, but this is a little misleading. It's all highway driving. I run 70 mph at about 1800 to 1900 rpm. I know if I'm on the highway a lot I can get 350 miles to my tank before my low fuel light comes on which if I fill up then I hold about 21 gallons.

Wow that's awful from just going up to 35's. If it is a hilly area my mileage can suffer, but I usually get at least 15 mpg

Lower gears help more on the highway because yeah, the rpm's are lower. She had a v6 though with 35s Mud tires + random stuff like compressors for her train horns and her bull bar.
My favorite gears are 373s. The in between for mileage and acceleration.
Oh yeah, she also lives at a higher elevation.

[QUOTE=RaiderH8r89;1910343] I don't know how some of you guys manage the mileage your getting... QUOTE]
^Agree. I have the 4.6 with 35s, 3.73 gears and with mixed driving 11-12 is my average. My old 5.4 3V with 33" tires and 3.73 gears also averaged the same MPG. I'm using the iPhone "Gas Cubby" app to calculate.

How many miles do you have ? It should not be that awful. Mine is just a single cab, but I get 23 give or take on the highway. You can help the problem buy trying several things, if you haven't thought about them. I personally reccommend Lucas Complete fuel system cleaner. Just dump it in the gas tank when it's low.
Cleaning your MAF sensor with the appropriate cleaner or CRC electric cleaner. can help, as well as cleaning the throttle body really well with throttle body cleaner (don't use carb and choke cleaner) they say it can eat the protective coating off an electric throttle body.
I'd also suggest maybe sea foaming through the PCV valve hose, some guys may tell you not to.
Cleaner your air filter, and change your fuel filter. Use a good quality gasoline.
Maybe somebody else can add something. All of these are common culprits.

Sorry, no way, 23MPG!? This is unheard of to me.
