Default Hide-a-way lights

I'm prolly going to order a set of 6 Friday and am wondering where the best location is to put the controller box and where the grommets are in the cab to run my wires inside into the box. Any suggestions and pic would be helpful.

I have an 06 and have a cut out type deal underneath the ac controls, I mounted a cb in it, just cut out the back so it was flush. That would probably fit great in there.

They are the strobe lights inside the headlights like on police cars. Volunteer fire fighters can have them in some states. They are a high power strobe that fits in a 1in hole cut into the housing

Make sure you go with the new LED style.

They run using less power than strobes, the bulbs last forever and are tougher than strobe bulbs.

My only other advice is if you are planning on putting the bulbs in the red tail lights you must buy red bulbs for them. Something to do with the color spectrum, LEDs have to be the same color as the lens to work properly if the lens is tinted. If the location your are planning to use is a clear lens.... No worries.

I just ordered a 6 bulb led set up. I wanna install 2 up front, 2 in the rear and 2 in the cargo light.
I want them in the cargo light so I have some lights high up to warn drivers better than my currents set up (6 flashers mounted to the bumper).
I'm not concerned with the hassle of running wires, i can deal with that, i just want to know if there is enough space in the cargo lights to mount the LED strobes and retain my cargo lights

I've seen it done but I haven't my self. It depends on how the led are assembled. I've decided on an led light bar. Easier to install and is complete to code 360 degree of lights as high as possible.

wakonako: putting LED's in the cargo lights is a difficult task. you will not be able to retain your bulbs with LEDs installed.
