I can only get a few in there, and it doesn't like quarters too much. I'd love to make it another 12V. Someone did it but didn't make a write-up

On my '08, you can program the radio/cd player such that the volume rises and drops automatically with vehicle speed. Instructions in the manual

Did that on 04 too. I lost the ability when I switched out my stereo, though.

My '01 Ranger had that. I remember driving it off the lot and for a few weeks after wondering just WTF was going on. I hated that feature. I get the logic behind it, but it's not for me. I tend to have just two volumes. Quiet, in the background, and all the way up.

Two "idiot features" are if you leave the keys in the ignition and try to lock the doors from the power lock switch the truck will unlock the doors. And if you leave the map/dome lights on and walk away they will trun off after a while

I learned about the no locking the truck with keys in ignition. I was at the gas station tried to leave the truck running and lock it and it would not stay locked. I was going to unlock the truck with my keypad but could not leave the truck running and lock it.

Mine must be a different system because I lock it using the key pad with the engine running almost daily running into places.

You can do it with the keypad or key fob just not the lock switch. And it only does it if the door is open

Sounds like too much work to me lol. I hate wiring stuff up so I'll stick with the coin holder lol
