Default Cold air intake

I have a 2007 4.6l v8

I would like to install a cold air intake.

Curious, all I find is for the 5.4l v8. Will that attach to the 4.6l v8?

Thanks

Your stock intake is already a cold air intake. Keep a clean filter in there. You won’t see any gains with a new intake.

Complete waste of money, unless you're just into a different look.

Default Air intake size/placement 4.6l vs 5.4 2007 same or?

Still did not get the mechanics part of the question answered.

I am not going to install one.

I understand horsepower Gains.

It would have been cosmetic. Lol 90% of the trucks on here are so done up they could not go down a gravel road. So to be frustrated some one may want some cosmetics is nuts...

I am gong to do the gotts steps. Lol if that's how it's spelled.

Yes I will do what want lol.

If at anytime you find yourself annoyed with a question asked 100s of times. Move on lol
You get more worked up and angry as you are responding. You mind and body does not need that stress. Just read on...

I don't think anyone was mad or trying to tell you what to do. It's just most of us have found them to be a waste of time and money performance wise.
If you would have said from the get go you want it for looks I don't think you would have had people telling you not to bother....

They are not interchangeable. You need one for the 4.6

You could just Google " F150 4.6 Gotts mod ". Mine came to me with an after market air intake but uses the factory pickup locatred in the driver's fender so not drawing in underhood air. I think it's fine.
