Default Hey everyone, quick question.

I have been driving jeeps for the past 5 years and decided its time for something with a tailgate. So next weekend I am buying a 2007 F150. I have driven two lifted jeeps in the past, but don't have much experience with the Ford's. I am working on a budget of about $1,500 to get this baby lookin nice. If you had $1,500 to do with a stock F150 how would you use it. I am just looking for an idea of what kind of lift I want to get, and that kind of junk.
Thanks
Bryce

Do exactly what I did and buy what I bought. I'm only into my truck mods for about $2000 and $1100 of that was my tires. Check out my build thread to see.

You're looking at a bare minimum of $1200 for parts to lift more than 3" suspension. Which blows the $1500 out of the water with tires and rims.

Your best bet is a 2.5" or 3" Autospring or Hell Bent Steel leveling kit for the front, and either a 3" (~1.5" lift) replacement block from autospring or an add a leaf to get some more frame and bumper clearance in the rear. If you put it on yourself, the pair will run you around $200-250.

Tires - up to 35x12.50 on stock rims with minimal rubbing on the UCAs, go a little thinner to prevent rubbing - $1000+

Add a tuner or exhaust for $250 and there's your $1500.
