I've had General AT-2s on for the last 4 years/55K, and they are getting close to race slicks now. Not loud, and worked OK, but not an American owned company. I'm thinking I'll get Cooper(American owned) AT-3s very soon.

Nitto/Toyo is Japanese and Chinese owned. General is German/French. Send your money where you want.

I don't care how the tires "look". I am only buying American from now on, when possible.

I just went with terra grappler mt 285 75 r18 with no lift fits great looks great. first set of nittos i have ever bought was going to go with toyo but just didnt want to pay 1800 installed got nittos for 1400. when i looked online mixed reviews on nitto and toyo mt lines. A mud tire isint going to last as long as a all season tire but its almost always how u drive and the tire pressure, on f150 u should only have the pressure at 45 psi even though tire goes to 80 psi, tires will wear uneven

I hope you realize that just because it's an "American" company, doesn't mean those tires are built in the USA.
