Ok gents,

I just installed my Alpine CDA-105 headunit and everything worked great....when I was in PARK. As soon as I put it in gear and started driving.. the unit would stop working...? Wuts the deal? Help! Please!!!

Did it start working again when you put it back in park? I'm guessing that you've got a loose connection, maybe a butt connector came loose if you didn't solder. Nothing in the stock harness should turn off in drive.

You know, I wonder if it's got something to do with the Vehicle Speed Sensor wire. Check the grey/black wire from the factory harness when you pull it out.

Well I popped open the dash this morning, took out the harness, checked the connections and re-grounded everything....and still having the same problem.

@GatorB8... I don't think it would have anything to do with the Speed Sensor Wire considering I had no problems before with my factory stereo. My question to you is...and i know there probably is...but, Is there a picture/diagram I can see to let me know if I even put all the connections in the right spot anyways?????

Thanks again,

David

I meant on the aftermarket side of the harness for the speed sensor, it should be the only thing affected by the transmission in the radio harness.
