Default Help! Rear differential problem

I changed out my rear diff. oil yesterday. Cleaned out the old oil, sealed the cover back up and waited overnight while it cured. Started filling it with new gear oil and it isn't filling. I have put 5 liters into it and still can't see the oil near the fill plug yet. Per the manual it only takes like 3.1 liters. I can't find any visible leaks. The pinion looks good and there are no leaks from the cover itself either. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help! It's a 2004 FX4 SCREW.
