Default Help, Put in Two quarts of Mercon LV

Noticed that I put two quarts of Mercon LV in my 5.4 3v F150. Was wondering if it would have any effect? If I put the rest as MERCON V.

Not good, I would hope you have not run the truck and can just drop the pan to get it out of there.

I just looked at Fords website and i says not to be used in tranny's with MerconV

as long as you didnt start the vehicle with that bad oil in there you should be able to drop the oil pan on tranny and dump it all out. then refill with proper stuff.
if you did start it then the best bet would be to take it to a tranny shop and get a complete flush done

Yeah use mercon v only. Can be a pain in the *** to find it, at least around here. I generally order online and always have at least 1 full swap worth on hand.

Default Dropped pan

Yeah, luckily I didn't start the truck, ended up dropping the pan and then putting in Mercon v. My local shop didn't have it on the shelf for some reason and but had it in the back. Truck is shifting smoother than ever, my Overdrive snap ring broke. Thats why I dropped the pan in the first place. Thanks for the help.
