Hello, I'm new to this forum! Hopefully someone here can help. I have a 2008 F150 Super Crew XLT that came with a factory cd/mp3 player head unit. (Sirius Ready) I recently replaced the unit with an OEM Navigation Unit that was used in an F150. It did not come with the GPS antenna. However, I have ordered an antenna. But, on the back of the unit that came with my truck there are 2 spots for connectors and there are 3 on the back of the OEM Naviagation Unit I purchased. I was told this unit would work in my f150. Is there a Wire Harness that I need to make this unit function? As of now the unit powers on (with a blank white screen) for 5 seconds then powers off. Can someone help me figure this out?

Do you have radio controls on your steering wheel?

 

I don't have any stereo control on my wheel

 

You don't have the 3rd plug for the steering wheel control.
You might have to go to the dealer to get the head unit reprogrammed .
