It's funny you guys say that to get a 1.5 lift cause I just ordered new struts and a 1.5 spacer I agree with both of you it currently has a 3 inch quick lift rancho struts with springs that's why I had to order new struts do you think after alignment the same tires will fit 305/70/R17? Or should I get a different size cause the truck needs tires soon anyways

You say they are 3" rancho quick lift coilover shock assemblies right? If that's the case, it would seem the previous owner tried to stick the 4wd version of the quick lifts in a 2wd truck. That would make for some severe angles and would be super hard to bolt everything back up.

Any photos of the coilover shocks and upper control arms?

What did you order for your new coilover shocks? Full assemblies? Stock hight?

Thanks now that makes a lot of sense, I looked for the 3" rancho quick lift for 2wd to see if I needed other parts for the lift and couldn't find them. I ordered a stock height Monroe struts and I also ordered a 1.5 inch spacer to lift the front I'll post pics up of the control arms and the other stuff as soon as I can

The monroe coilover shock units are good. That's what I used on my truck. 1.5" should give you what you need.

Are there blocks or AAL in the rear? And are there wheel spacers on there too?

Your current tires are almost 34". Id go down to a 32" or 33" max. The guy was trying to fit too large of a tire size on that truck without a proper lift.

A 265/75R17 or 285/70R17 would look good on there and would fit with the stock wheels.

Thanks I agree he was trying to high of a lift without buying a complete lift kit, he put blocks in the rear I assume I should remove the blocks and use nothing right?

I'd measure where you're at when you put in the new coilovers and 1.5" spacer and go from there.

Just depends on if you want to be perfectly level or have a little rake.

I'll get 32" tires just to be safe do you think I'll have to use tire spacers also? I wouldn't mind getting tires that are more narrow to avoid using tire spacers

With a 32" and a stock rim, you won't need spacers.

You can see by the pics that the upper control arm is rubbing on the spring and tire and the upper part of the spindle where it hooks up to the upper control arm is also rubbing
