Company where i work uses a heat blower gun and plastic scraper to remove decals off our company cars which cover a space of 15”x30” on one door each side and vehicle #s’ off front/back bumpers . A good hot hair dryer might work the same . Just need it to get hot enough to soften the decal area and scrape with plastic scraper . . If you can find a retail detail shop they might sell a chemical you can use to remove such things without hurting the paint job . Then use Goo Gone remover for residule . Good luck tho .

Another vote for an eraser wheel. Sadly the one you should use is a $35 wheel mounted on a $300 grinder!

There are some red erasers that attach to a drill that, while not quite as effective , are much cheaper at $20 on eBay.

Looks better than the chrome. But it's gonna take a while to get that all off. If you're in a hurry try airplane stripper. Guaranteed to come right off.

I would try Ppg dt 885 reducer. Just don’t let it sit on the paint too long or you’ll have primer, though I have never run into that problem using reducer for sticker adhesive, sap etc. It will make quick work out of that. Just soak a rag in it and press it onto the residue for 5-10 seconds and bam, it’s gone.
