Help! (Leveling front end)

you dont need cam bolts. they are designed to fix camber (the wheel leaning in and outwards)
when you put a leveling kit on it pushes your front control arms down, which in turn makes your tie rods shorter, meaning that it aims your front wheels in towards each other. when you do a leveling kit your toe (wheels being pointed inwards or outwards) should be the only things affected.
when they have it on the alignment rack they will be able to tell you if your camber is out of spec or not, and if it is then you will need cam bolts. my truck one of the wheels is cambered in (-.4 degrees) and you can barely tell, and it doesent tear up tires, its within spec.
only thing to keep in mind when installing is where the strut and leveling kit mount to the truck the three bolt holes are slotted, so try to tighten down the strut in the center of the bolt holes. i didnt know this when i did mine, one of mine is centered, and the other is off to one side (twisted all the way) and i think thats what may be causing my slight negative or slight positive camber.

I noticed some guys say that after you level your truck you need o drive it around a little while before you get it aligned so that it can settle. Is that neccessary? If so how many miles should you go before alignment?

jerrybizzle, the link you posted is REALLY helpful! The tools he listed was to install the kit on his 4x4. Does it take the same tools for a 2x4? I would think so but just wondering...
