Stay at 6 inches or less and your drive shaft will be fine.

Oftyss21, I have an 06 F150 Crew Cab with a 6" Trail Master lift Kit On 35s. The truck Rides Nice your going to loose some power to the big tires save for gears! My truck has 60k miles and i had my first problem. The out put shaft on the T-Case Has a bushing in it that the yoke rides in. From the angle that the drive shaft is riding it wore a groove in the bushing and took out the yoke seal. The bushing and the yoke seal had to be replaced it is a $400 repair. From what ive heard this is a common problem on lifted F150s. I was told a longer drive shaft would fix this problem. Hope this helps.
