Default help driving with knees in face-need seat motor

I did the worst thing possible...I let my wife drive my 2007 F150KR! I said "Do Not move the seat!!!!" She moved the seat and the seat F/R died; U/D works I drilled it down to the middle motor. PN#868336A01. I called (9) dealerships, Corporate and searched everywhere. They say the whole rack system PN#6L3Z1661711B has to be bought, but it was discontinued. Some said they can sell it for $1500. WTH? Any suggestions? I can't drive because my knees are in my face.

Update: From I see, It cannot be moved manually due to the gears. From the front of the seat, there is a mounting bracket holding a black motor horizontally. From the sides, there are two white capillaries connecting to the gears on the rails. These are easily removed by bending the capillary and snap rings. I removed the passenger side motor and replaced the drivers side. The problem I have now is finding the motor. PN#503064A01 NPT 070125 Advanced Manufacturing Division Part 001. P.S. The two motors in the middle affect the tile up and down. I thought there were three motors, only two and one for the forward/backward on the front plate. P.S.S. I can now drive!!!!

good to hear that Qbert good luck with finding those parts yous eek.

I would make sure the divorce papers specify failure to heed warning and massive amounts of discomfort due to that neglect. you may even be able to sue for wages and sleep lost, as well as pain and suffering.

My 07 KR has memory seats. Does yours not? So my wife can adjust all she wants. When I hit the unlock button on my key fob it automatically puts my seat and mirrors right back where I had them. This was absolutely one of my favorite features on my KR! I realize this does not fix your problem with the motor but it may relieve some tension between you and the wife My wife used to never drive my truck just because I would get mad at her for adjusting the seat. Now its a non issue. Good luck finding your parts, I would suggest a pick N pull junk yard.
