Default Help

Just got my truck out of a local trusted shop which 'fixed' and replaced my cam phasers and timing belts.. when I got it out, the truck seemed even worse than it was when I had brought it in to have it fixed. The truck makes a weird sputtering noise now, and still has the shaking, but EVEN WORSE.. someone please help because I have no idea what i am supposed to do or what could have happened.. the check engine light also came back on and flashes sometimes?

have it scanned to find out what is causing the check engine light... I'm guessing its going to be a misfire.. probably will need new plugs

Yea, i'm betting misfire, check all the COP plugs to make sure that they are secure. Check the fuel injector plugs as well. Sounds like a misfire, normally after a job like that, the mechanic would take it for a test drive and fix those issues before giving it back to a customer. Good luck

Did you ask the shop if they test drove the truck after their repair?

You must have some sort of work/parts warranty from that "trusted" shop, right?
