Default Hell Bent Steel Vs. Rough Country

Looking for a leveling kit for my 06 F150. Right not just stock tires and rims. I am looking to buy a set of 35's soon. Before that I need to do the leveling kit.

2.5" HBS

OR

2" Rough country with 1" rear block and shocks.

Anyone have either of these?
Opinions?

Thanks in advance.

do you want it level or raked ?? if you add 2 inches in the front and 1 in the rear it will still have a rake... if you put 2.5 up front and leave the rear alone...it will be level.

^what he said^

I did the Rough Country spacer with rear block and shocks. Installation wasn't too bad. Still had a bit of rake but I love it. With 35's it sits real nice.

It is an 06. Not 100% sure but I think 06-08 takes 2" to be level. 04-05 take 2.5".

Just measure from the center of your hub to the fender and compare the difference. That's what I did with my 05. I got the 2.5 HBS and put it on yesterday. It looks awesome to me. I plan on going 35s soon also.

THIS is the way to go. Couldn't be happier and being solid, there is less chance of the block collapsing.

i just put a 2" billet off-brand leveling kit I got from ebay and on my 04. I needed 2 1/2" to make it level but I went with the 2 because I didnt want any more angle on all the joints and it just shy of being level. To me these trucks still need just a hair of rake IMHO. I'm hoping when i put my winter sand bags in I will be very close to perfectly level and not go past it.
