Heater Problems
Well guys it has finally gotten cold enough to use my heater so I went to turn it on. My climate control works, but the truck does not heat up. What is wrong with it? Ive herd some people talking about blend doors being stuck. Any ideas before I have to pull the dash or and alternative to pulling the dash off?

Blend door actuator is easy. You just have to drop the glove box and take out the radio to get to it. It's a tight fit with a wrench to get the three bolts out (no room for a ratchet or socket) but only took me about 20 minutes.

Ok thanks I'll look at that. I did put in a K&N CIA in a few months back. I little radiator fluid poured out when I replaced it with the kit hose but not much. Do you think that could be causing any of my problems?

coolant came out of what when you installed your cold air intake ?

There was a reservoir behind the stock intake on the drivers side. The kit said to replace the stock hose with their hose. I didn't understand why because it looked the same size and went the same place (from reservoir to radiator). The liquid came out of that hose. I don't know if it's antifreeze or what. It looked like it since it had a lime green tint.

I would definitely start by changing the coolant and thermostat first. They are easy. And cheap. And your coolant probably is the original anyways. But like techrep, I'm puzzled why there is coolant in the intake. Guess I gotta go check my truck... Warm air intake? haha
