Default Heated seats wont stay on.

I have a 2007 Lincoln mark lt. The heated seats work really well and the shut off on the own after approximately 10 or so. Is there a setting that automatically shuts them off. I doubt its a thermal cutoff because both seats shut off simultaneously regardless if someone is in the passenger seat. Any help would be great thanks!

Does anyone know whether or not you can extend that auto shut time?

Dont think id wouls want to mess with how long those stay on. Fire hazard waiting to happen. I have them also and it woukd be nice if they stayed on longer for warming up the truck in the dead of winter, but it's not worth the risk.

Yes they get pretty warm on high. It would be nice if at least stay on at the lower setting.
