Default Headlights/bulbs

I have a terrible time seeing at night. It seems like my headlights aren't even on. I have tried Hid's and a few different bulbs. Do you know of a bright bulb that would light up the road.

Here's what I would do..
1) Make sure the headlights are getting adequate voltage
2) If back road driving is your concern, then add some offroad lighting behind the grille
3) If all else fails, go get your eyes checked..

In all seriousness, I use silverstar headlights and have never had an issue, other than they don't like moisture and tend to pop if any gets into the housing. Of course my low beams are nothing special because they aren't supposed to be (other drivers need to not be temporarily blinded when they pass you.) My high beams work great. Compared to other vehicles I have owned, this F-150 has excellent lighting.

I'd personally go retrofit headlights all the way. Amazing light output and looks much better than stock, but not everyone is willing to spend hundreds getting there. So it really depends on what all you want to try when looking for the best output.
Here's a couple of pictures:

Gator941...Thank you for the info. My husband says they are terrible too. I was worried about my eyes lol. I have the silverstar-silver I believe. I think there is a gold which may be brighter. I
hope. I drive with my brights on from time to time and I don't get flashed. That is what amazes me.

Sdatrlp23...where did you get your headlights? I love how the are so bright. Looks nice too!!

If you drive with your brights on and don't get flashed id see if your lights are aimed correctly. They might be aimed right in front of your truck

The owners manual has a section on how to aim the headlights correctly. It is pretty easy to do. Just takes a few minutes.

Thanks! They were actually custom made. It was retrofitted with parts from TheRetrofitSource.con

I don't mind driving at night anymore with these.
