I remember the Silverstar TV ad saying that the silverstarts actually give better light then xenons. The light goes farther ahead and lights up more. Obviously, it's a bias opinion, but I was surprised to hear it.

I got them at Wal-mart. They were about $25 a bulb.

Yeah i guess so. I don't know where you guys are but $25 a bulb does a good job. If I need any other light I will purchase some baja lights.

I ordered the 9007 silverstar ultras for my '04 and they were not right. The plug was different and the slots that actually hold the light in were different. But i have heard that they make a big difference with these trucks. If anyone has some input on what part number i need im having a little trouble figuring it out.

I'll get a picture of mine tonight. I can't remember exactly what brand, but they were advertised as Ultrawhite. I had my passenger bulb go out and replaced it with the stock bulb and can definitely see a difference.

*My foglights are APC, cost about $30, and are very white with a blue tinge

Wow you just dug up a 3.5 yr old thread.

They don't make silverstar ultras for our trucks, just the standard 9008/H13 silverstars.
