My post wasn't meant as a thorough review or comparison. It was simply, "Oh I went through a similar situation as the one you're asking about, and here's my experience..." I did the install in 10-15 minutes, did a quick test drive and got a few oncoming vehicles "flashing" me, and went back and spend another 15 minutes to properly adjust them (I hadn't bothered to adjust them after installing the 2" lift, but apparently my old halogens weren't bright enough to offend while the new LEDs were). I needed to do it quickly as my wife was going to wake my *** up in the wee hours of the morning to head out on a weekend road trip.

The pic looking at the truck is not meant so show patterns/hotspots, etc. or anything other than to simply show color temperature (that they are not yellow, and they are not blue -- they are white). Of course it's going to show glare. I'm in the dark 10 feet from the truck looking directly into bright headlamps thru a lens....

I'm not sure what glare you're referring to in the second pic. It's simply representative of what someone actually sees from the driver's seat, which is the road and what's in front, not the trees above or way off to the sides, etc.

If someone wants a real technical review just send me a bunch of bulbs from different manufacturers and I'll be happy to take the time to thoroughly write a detailed comparison.

In the meantime, it's just, "Hey these only cost me $38 with overnight shipping and so far they're awesome!"
It's just that, so many people before you have done this same exact thing. Buy some heap leds and say "wow, these are cool."

Leds like the ones you bought just add to the problem these days.

Paying $34 is not going to get you a worth while set of LEDs. I dare you to buy a higher end kit and compare to the ones in your truck.

The second pic shows hot spots and dead spots. The light is being scattered in the housing.

This same conversation has been had countless times on this forum.

I swear one of these days I'm going to do a promo... "send us your old LED set and get $50 credit towards a new set" but then I know people will buy $30 sets of Lights and make $20 lol...
