Headlamp assembly 2008 F150 SuperCab
I am the owner of a 2008 SuperCab XLT 4X4 which is in excellent condition only 28K on the odometer. My driver's side headlamp (OEM) has developed hairline cracks in the lens and I would like to replace the assembly. In pricing OEM driver's side headlamp assembles I have found the prices to be astronomical, dealer, eBay and Amazon. Used assemblies being in poor condition. In shopping the other lower priced after market assembles similar to OEM, eBay, Amazon, etc., all of the reviews I have read thus far indicate problems with water leakage or quality. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good replacement headlamp assembly for my 2008 F150? I don't mind purchasing a complte set (left and right side. I just don't want to pay an exorbitant price nor purchase headlamps which will be prone to water leakage or if inferior quality. Your help and suggestions are aporeciated!

The OEM housings will be hands down the best you can get your hands on.
The aftermarket units are hit or miss, some leak, some yellow right away, some crack or are just cheaply made.
Some have bought aftermarket headlights and then resealed them to avoid leaks and have been happy.

This is a local site to me. Give some people a call. Some may be willing to ship. Others may not.

This one is a wrecking yard, so i'm sure they would ship.

Having access to quite a few junkyards, it has been my experience that there are slim pickings with regards to quality used headlights for these trucks. Time and the elements have not been kind to them. That is why I went the route of eBay cheapos and RTV sealant. So far, so good. For the cost of a set of OEMs, I can buy a bunch of cheapos.

Do you want to trade your XLT for a 2008 SuperCab Lariat 4X4 which is in excellent condition with only 27K on the odometer? I'm serious.
