Header questions on an 05 5.4

Header questions on an 05 5.4
Hey guys,
Im new to the board and needing to ask a question. My nephew has a 2005 F150 w/ the 5.4 v8. He wants to make er a little bit louder. Thinking headers, back to an x pipe and in to a few glass packs or some sort of mufflers. My question is, who makes a good set of headers for the 05, somewhat on the cheap side but yet is going to last. And what about the o2 sensors. Do we need a chip/programmer to over ride the sensor? And thinking Cat-less would be the way to go, let it open up a bit. So I guess the most of my question is who do you recomend for headers, and what do we do about the o2 sensor.

how loud does he want it??
i just got back from a friends exhaust / performance shop with my 07 f150 5.4 and he replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaster and i gotta tell ya its too loud for my taste. no other changes, no cat back no bigger tubing just a flowmaster and im gonna drive it through the weekend and probably go back monday and have him put in bigger piping with a quieter muffler and just eat the $90 i gave him.

he wants it pretty loud. hes got a single 50 series flowmaster on it now, but cat is leaking. So might as well scrap it. But bought a set of headers today. Along w/ two glass packs. So nevermind the question.

Yeah he ended up going with the pacesetters from summit. Looks like they are going to be a PAIN to put on. But yeah ill def tell him to post up some video when we get it all done. Should be pacesetters into two glass packs, no x pipe or h pipe. Just strait duals.
