I did have an issue with the 9005's overheating my fog light harness, so I cut off the OEM bulb harnesses and put in some heavy duty, high heat versions.. It's been solid ever since... The pep boys bulbs have crap O Rings, but a little dielectric grease helped them seal well.
So a 9005 will fit in my fog lights?

Yea everyone keeps telling me to go to advance auto so I might give them a shot! The only reason I like autozone is they always give me $20 off stuff from shopping there so much I guess lol

That's what I think also, if I wanted HIDs I would get them not a HID look.

all them colored bulbs due is sacrifice brightness output. i had a set of philips with the blue tint before i got the ultras, thought i was cool with the blue tint lol its stupid though. switched to the ultras and couldnt believe the brightness. i was pissed to find out they dont make a 9145 fog light bulb in the ultras, they just make a basic silverstar. ended up finding a silverstar ultra headlight bulb that fit my fog light socket and they worked fine but burnt out 6 months later. lol

HID should come from the factory. I had them on my Nissan Maxima and they were very functional for me as I hate night driving. But fake HID is just that and banned in some countries.

Yup... They twisted right into my 04 fog housings... i know they will fit 06+, but the lens is so small on those fogs that they might melt...
The harness will suffer from the heat from a 9005, so upgrading to a Heavy Duty high temp harness is prudent... I think I payed $12 for both harnesses at pep boys...

i have no experience with the use of HIDs, always hated them but i think the reason i hate them is cause people use the wrong housings which cause them to scatter light everywhere and into on coming drivers faces.
