2005 Lariat current mileage is 44,000. Bought new on 1-28-2006 w/ only 28 miles on it. Built at the Dearborn Michigan plant

1. Headliner had to be shimmed do to it making a lot of noise while driving TSB 5-14-2 @ 3k
2. Complete sunroof and headliner replaced shortly after I bought it. Sunroof wouldn't close @ 5K
3. Radio replace (Audiophile unit) Keep ejecting Cd's TSB 5-10-19 @15K
4. antenna cable replaced twice @6K and 18K First one was stripped out on the base of the antenna socket from the factory. second one do to poor radio reception. Reception still sucks
5. Drive belt replace once with a new tensioner pulley @12K. Belt started squealing again @ 18K and still does to date. I need to get a Gaterback belt.
6. Rear axle vent was leaking connection at the rear axle and had to be resealed @12K
7. Rotors had a very very slight shimmy since it was new. I replaced them with some upgraded rotors, no more shimmy. There was a TSB for it 5-21-19
8. Rail dust removed @12K But it's all over the truck again. TSB 4-9-6
9. Steering wheel replaced, sticky leather @15K
10. Passenger headlight replaced @ 30K do to reflector coming loose inside assembly.
11. Drivers door lock switch not illuminating @ 30K
12. Slip Yoke lubed with Teflon based grease because of a slip bump in drive shaft. TSB 5-25-11 @ 30K
13. PCM Flash update due to hesitation on acceleration. TSB 5-19-01/6-16-13 @ 30K
14. A/C compressor replaced Leaky seals in compressor. TSB 6-4-9 @ 30K
15. Battery replaced yesterday @ 32K
16. Passenger door power window switch not illuminating @ 32K
17. Sunroof switch not illuminating @ 33K
18. Rear slider switch not illuminating @ 36K
19. Air Bag emblem chrome separating @ 36K
20. Drive shaft replaced because of slip bump @ 36K
21. Passenger front door lock switch not illuminating @ 37K
22. Driver's window switch stopped working @ 38K
23. Rear slider stopped working, motor replaced @ 38K
24. Fuel injector #6 was sticking open. #07M08 injector extended warranty coverage 11yr/120Kmiles @ 44K

Other issue I see:

1. Wiper motor make noise when it's used for long periods of time. There is a recall for this on the 06 model year but I think I have the same problem. 05S40S1 DEC 05 Recall - Wiper Motor Inspection/Lubrication

2006 XLT 4X4 with 35K
-The 4WD would not engage, it turned out the motor failed that engages the 4WD.
-The window switch works when it wants too, soon to be replaced.
-The cigarette lighter does not work
-The side view mirror switch failed and was replaced.

2007 F-150 Harley Davidson S/C brand new - only 100 miles.
Engine erratically shutdown itself at low RPM's
currently almost a month in the dealer service to replace the engine!!!!!
other thoughts: - super charger is powerfull but noisy every time you hit the gas pedal.

07 xlt supercrew 4x4 5.4
Transmission line came loose at 30mi.
Chrome on pass side step bar bubbling up at 2500mi they replaced it, now driver side is doing the same.
Cowl panel on driver side kept popping up, was replaced last week, still popping up.

Triton v8

2007 XLT SuperCrew, bought used.

No problems as of right now and it seems to be running GREAT!!!

EDIT: And my truck has right at 21k miles on it too.

05 Reg cab 4x4 with 19,300 miles bought used, no problems as of now. Not sure what assembly plant it was made at, will have a look when I get off work.

I have an 04 f-150 lariat supercab built at the norfolk virginia plant. I bought it new and have almost 50k miles on it. It still has the original brakes and tires on it. They will be replaced within the next month. No problems mechanically. I had a problem with the front middle seat console. The leather pulled out of the plastic cover. Ford replaced the whole console under warranty. I have been very happy with the performance.

2004 f150 lariat. The rear window doesn't work. The transfer case has some issues. It makes some grinding noise if the 4x4 is not on. The truck has 81,000 miles on it.

2006 F150 Lariat Super Cab. Bought New (5 Miles) 11-15-2006

Had many problems with the truck so far, ford has been very bad about wanting to fix some of them:

1. Window motors are flaky for the front 2 windows, sometimes they go up together, sometimes they dont.
2. Suspension is always squeaking, taken it to the dealership like 3 times, and they always claim to have greased the shocks, but it always comes back squeaking the same.
3. Steering wheel has started to peel a little bit, and i clean it at least once a month, along with the leather seats.
4. Fog lights have water in them, and are melting in dead center of the round housing, ford doesnt seem to think they need to warrant that.
5. Driver side tail light began condensating around the time that i got the truck, 6 months later, it was filled with water alllllll the way up half way thru the white reverse lights; you could have taken a shower with how much water was in there. replaced at 12,300 miles.
6. My cigarette lighter stopped working at about, idk, say, 4,000 miles.
7. Parking sensors work, but i can not turn them off with the button because it seems to have gone bad? its a pain when trailering a boat and backing up with it.
8. last, the other day, the car was shaking, felt like a had a flat tire, when i got out and looked, i heard the exhaust, and the car was wanting to stall out, i reved it a couple of times, sounded normal at high RPMs, put it in drive, went WOT, when i stopped, still sounded as if it wanted to stall out. turned off the car, waited a few minutes, turned it on, sounded ok. i think it may have been a misfire in the cylinders?

thats about it with my problems, and i try to take care of the truck as much as possible, its my baby (though i admit, i hit a tree, but this has been b4 my accident)
