I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I think the factory colormatched nerf bars make my truck look much shorter than it really is. I'm thinking about painting them black to make them stand out a little less. Has anyone painted theirs? Bedliner? Possibly undercoat? Ideas and input is welcome

I plasti dipped mine also. Been done for about 2 months and seems to be holding up fine.

Plasti dipped mine as well. Been done for a year is holding up through the snow and ice. They are the factory ford chrome ones.

I did base coat clear coat on mine to match my silver two tone. I had bed liner first but the plastic pad peels it up over time. Never had a problem once painted
