I painted mine myself with rustoleum paint and primer satin black (while I had it off to make it easy, just make sure to let is dry COMPLETELY before putting it back on) and it is a nearly exact match on the color. I used a 180 grit sanding sponge to prep it and cleaned it really well and its holding up great in the hot Florida sun with no clear coat.

Maybe not the look you going for with a Saleen grill, but I used nite shades.. Just cleaned it up good with isopropyl. I didn't sand or anything cause I wanted the chrome to shine through a bit.. It's been about a year and is holding up good...

I have the lariat chrome package billet grill and the chrome on the grill surround is starting to "bubble" in one corner. Can I peel off the chrome and paint it???
