New to plasti-dip...before I do it to ??
OK before I go crazy on my black F150 with the plasti-dip, what are some dos and don'ts with the stuff??
Thinking of doing the badges, front and rear bumpers, and maybe side steps.
Take emblems off? tape them off?
Does it look flat black? how do you get it glossy black?
thanks from the rookie and I love everyones blacked out trucks!!
Pics are always awesome too

I plasti dipped my rims last winter, if you plan on that I advise getting your tires balanced with sticky weights before you paint them. And alot of ppl do the bumpers, I would but I plan on getting new ones. One thing I love about it is there is no sanding needed. Just clean thoroughly, let dry and paint

It works if you can't afford to do it the right way. IDK. It does what it does and you get what you pay for. I had a lot of issues with it shrinking/peeling on any of the ford chrome even when washing with simple green, dawn dish soap, or p21s. In the end I pealed it all off and did it right.
Here's the wheels/bumpers/grill done with cerakote.
this is plastidip on the bumpers, wheels, and grill. I didn't like how it attracted and held dirt either.
