hard shift out of OD - not coils?

The test data is pretty accurate from my experience. It NEVER shows a miss unless there is one. Everytime my test results in torque pro show a misfire I've been able to correct it and it doesn't come back.

ok... an update to this. i found the reciept he sent me when i bought the truck...

truck was taken in for shift malfunctions, plugs were replaced with motorcraft, after change, test drive showed that it was running fine.

that was at 102k
im at 111k

it didnt do the hard shift from when i got it at 109k till about 110k.... so there was a while where it wasnt doing it.

to add to the story, it also has the diesel idling, which it also didnt do when i got it, but now does quite a bit. gotta do some research into that and see if it is a manifold leak or the goddamn cam phasers.

You might try putting a torque wrench on all of your plugs to make sure none have backed out.
