Default Hard 1-2 shift.

I think the previous owner had a programmer on this truck. It's doesn't feel like a bad hard shift. I actually feels like how my sonoma would shift when I would set it the programmer to "performance".

Feels normal at WOT. Only does it at 1/2 throttle and not at 1/4 throttle.

Otherwise truck drives fine.

I just did the free intake mod and took it around the block but didn't notice the hard shift. I'll check back after I have to go somewhere. Maybe I accidentally fixed it. lol

Decided to check the trans level on a hunch. It was barely in the cold section after a 10 min drive to wal-mart. Picked up some lucas oil trans additive and it's A LOT better.

Still there a bit. But NOTHING I mean _NOTHING_ like it was. I noticed this immediately and it seemed to get better on the drive home. It's now just inside the hot section.

Actually, while the lucas stuff made it a little better.

I had a trans flush service done on it at a local auto shop. That's what made it 95% go away.

Apparently the truck stays in 2nd gear when coming to a stop sometimes and the hard shift was the truck down shifting to 1st. It would only happen when driving from a dead stop.
