Default Growling noise when I turn..

My truck is an 08 and recently I've heard a noise coming from the drivers side as I am turning right... it is loudest around 35 mph. Since I have only 63k miles on it I'm hoping it isn't anything major, I just had my brakes done at 60k so maybe I got a bad wheel bearing??

Sounds like a wheel bearing. If you jack up that corner of the truck and grab the tire at the top and bottom and lift it up (in and out). Any play from top to bottom indicates the wheel bearing is likely your problem.

Good Luck

Check your power steering fluid. If the fluid level is good then your pump is likely on its way out. If the noise increases with wheel speed that would indicate a wheel bearing.

First off are you in Jacksonville florida? Second off I have been thru 3 wheel bearings. Having a lifted truck doesn't help but if one goes out the other will probably go soon. If you have any tires that are bigger than stock definitely put moog bearings in it. The ford one bit the dust after 3 months on my 35's. The tire kingdom on southside wanted almost $800 for one so avoid them. I have been going to one of those goodyear shops and they have been great to work with.

Replace the bearing/hub assembly yourself. I just got a new one for my driver's side for about $170 at Autozone. Took about 30 minutes to replace. Super easy!!

Rock auto has both Timken and Moog for around $140. Not that difficult to swap out.
