Got question on subs + amps

hey guys, I have a 07 super cab and I'm wondering what is the largest size of subs I can actually fit underneath my back seats without having to remove the seats, im use to the whole car deal just putting the sub's in the trunk and mounting the amps to the top of trunk. Also what brands do you guys tend to like for decent sound and decent price. (not looking for high end expensive subs and amps).

Also if you reply and have a couple pic's of your set up, id love to see them =)

i would go with two 10" kicker CVT's should be around $100-$125 each and then a 1k amp and you should be sounding good. you could pick up a custom box for around $80 too.

sounds pretty good to me ill look into them, heard nothing but good things about kicker. got a good idea of where i can order a custom box from ?

do a google search for f150 sub box and you wil have every size shape and form... i have a 10 mtx and i am going to go with a ported box that sits on top of seat in middle and acts as a console.. running infinity kappas in doors with a mtx tc6004 amp... thinking of going tc6001 for sub..

i wouldnt give the cvt's a full 1000 rms both, i would do a solid 250-300 each, that way you can play them all day long with no problems, just make sure you dont play alot of low notes, the cvt is very weak on the lows

not with all but most amps that say 1000, well, u are only gonna get 250 out of anyway...lol

that mtx i know it aint top of the line but man that thing is rated at 75 watts x 4 at 4ohm... it has a paper with it saying it is putting out 122 x 4 @ 4ohm... my kappas are only a hair over 2ohm so i am hoping for the best... should be putting it in this friday.

its called a birthsheet, and if you pay for a good amp you will get good power, if your gonna go cheap and get a boss/soundstorm/power acoustics/lanzar/pyle etc. amp then its your fault for not getting the power your "wanting"
