Default Got new tires and wondering if I should change gears

I recently went from a stock 235/70/R17 to a 275/70/R18 (33x11.00). I have the 3.55 non limited slip diff. I have noticed a considerable gas mileage drop and somewhat of a power drop. I was thinking of switching to the stock 3.73 gears. Is this advisable? Any suggestions? Can I change to a limited slip at the same time? Anybody have those parts left over from an upgrade?

THanks

Gear swap is always a good thing....but I wouldnt change it just one gear size....Matter of a fact if you are not going to run any bigger than 33" tires I wouldnt even fool with it.Get a reprogrammer to make up the difference.

I agree 100%. 3:55 to 4:10 isn't even that much of a differnce. 33x11.5 isnt a big tire, run stock gears.

I'm running toyo m/t's which are considerably heavier than my highway tires. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I'm running two different size tires/rims. I have a highway set in the stock size, and the toyo m/t's in the 33x11r18. I want to use a gear that will be able to work well with both.
