Default Got my new brakes today

i got my brake rotors from performance Brakes today i got the slotted drilled dimpled in black with ceramic pads i should have them on this weekend, just got front ones for now i need to order the rears in a few weeks

what brand of pads did you get. Definitely need to let us know how they feel as I am getting close to a brake replacement/upgrade myself.

i got the cermic pads from perf. brakes i should have them on by sunday, my buddy is going to put them on for me since i am busy with work and my girls bday i'll get some other [pics when they are on the truck

So with them being black im assuming that once you atart using them the black will wear off of the contact points right? that would be awesome if they somehow stayed black always, like some sort of colored metal

The black is just an anti corrosion coating and will wear off with breaking. The rest of the rotor though will stay black.
