Good recommendations on tires
 

I've owned 4 sets of mud tires within the last 8 years but have always driven on pavement. I have a new job now and don't drive nearly as much and I like the bulky tread look on my tires but was considering nitto ridge grapplers because their an all terrain. I'm not sure if they will have that aggressive enough look that I'm use to. Here's a pic with my almost gone Toyos so could I get some opinions on which tire would look best with my setup. I run a 35x12.50r17. Attachment 473651

The Falken AT3 have a nice aggressive tread pattern.

Have you looked into the Toyo R/T's?

Yeah but I would choose the ridge grapplers over the toyo r/ts because they look a little more aggressive. I've had dick cepek mud country's, Mickey Thompson Baja claws, Kanati mud hogs and then the Toyos. All lasted about 2 years only because of my job at the time and I was driving everywhere which wore them down more quick than I'd expected. But like I said I don't drive nearly as much now so I know if did go with another mud tire, it would last a lot longer.

Stick with your MT's then!

I have that feeling if you went with an AT or not an MT, you won't be satisfied.

PS...Those are some AGRESSIVE tires. Haha!

I have the Radar Renegade R7 M/T's and I like them so far! I have about 3k miles on them so far and don't have any complaints about them! They are pretty much clones of the Toyo that you have but at a fraction of the cost! I got my whole set of 35s for $750!

I might just be getting those cause they look bad A@! !!!!!!

I live in North Texas and ordered them through a local Goodyear store. I like them a lot! They're relatively quiet too...For being a M/T!

The gladiator xcomps look bad to the bone but anyone heard or know anything about them ?

I looked at those ones too... They are SUPER aggressive, and probably super loud too. But I agree they do look sweet!
