Question a good gearing ratio

Is 3.55 transmission good? i Have a 2004 supercrew that im going to level and put slightly larger tires on. i want to make sure that this gearing ratio will be ok for that set up.

FYI the gearing your talking about is in your differential not your transmission. But I'd say you would be good to run around 33 inch tire, any more than that is pushing it. You will notice a little less power and your fuel economy will drop but other than that I think you would be good.

I have 3.55 gears with a two inch level and I now have 34.5 inch tires. You can tell they are there but it is acceptable as I am not doing any heavy towing, just a two place atv trailer. I want to get 4.10s but the programer to correct speedometer and shift points definitely helps. I use to have 285/70/17 and it wasn't bad at all. Got about 15 with the 33s and just less than that now.
33s then the 35s.
