Nice work. Mine catches oil but I may do this mod to see if it catches more.

It was like night and day for me. I think it's worth a shot if your not catching much.. I seem to catch right around 3/4 to 1 ounce of oil ever 2k miles.. Before these mods I was barely catching any, and the PCV valve to can hose was pretty well soaked with oil....

One of these days I'm going to map the bends wit some bendable pipe cleaners and delete the last remaining hose with some custom bent nylotube... A heat gun and a 10" long door spring just a shade under the inner diameter of that nylotube works great at getting some nice tight bends...

I did that to all of my lines using pex from Lowes a few weeks after I installed my SC as i noticed the lines collapse under vacuum. Worked like a charm.

Catch can update:

So it's been about 4500 miles since my last catch can cleaning..

I took a look at how she's working and it was nearly full!!

Going, going, gone... Supercharged!-image-2230047488.jpg The coalesce filter is working flawlessly!

Going, going, gone... Supercharged!-image-3043653888.jpg The color of the fluid is due to aeration.. I checked the container immediately after a 50 mile run on the highway that was during extremely torrential rain.. It smelled like fuel.

Going, going, gone... Supercharged!-image-1482207480.jpg So this mod to the catch can is a confirmed success. The secondary filter is clean, and so is the hose leading to the PCV in the back of the blower..

Without adding that filter, or having a catch can, all this oil would end up on my blower screws, my innercooler, and would be sitting in the bottom of my intake manifold.. The truck still runs like new, and has given me zero problems as a daily driver.. I'm boosting daily, especially on the highway, and so far I've had one hell of perfect supercharged experience..

The coldest start I had so far while supercharged was 18 degrees, and the truck starts up perfect every time via remote start.. Even with my 5 year old battery!..

Hey what oil catch can do you use? I just bought the CFM oil cap vent for my Roushcharged truck, I was thinking about getting the Metco catch can designed for the Lightning's, it's only $60

I don't mean to revive this thread but your inbox is full Especial

Replied, did you get it? Thanks for the quick reply to me! Read up on the CFM breather it works really well, has a balance for no unmetered air, and twinskrewed uses one too.

Yeah got your message..
Nice! Curious to see how well this works out and if you feel any oomph from it.. I'm sure it is a worthy mod that I will prob jump on too.

A Catch can on the drivers side head, and that breather should work great.

I'm going to be installing my 3" pulley soon for more boost (10 psi), changing my blower oil, and changing my plugs for the first time since the new motor went in..
The motor oil still looks golden, even after 2000 miles. I'm around 7000 total miles on this new motor. It's really payed off to change my oil several times since the new motor install..
