Going on 4 trannys in 2 weeks!
Well 2 weeks ago my trany went out. I took it to an Ammco transmision shop to have it rebuilt. They called on tuesday and said it was ready. I took it back the next day because it was grinding because the morons didn't tighten all the bolts down. On last friday I was driving through an intersection and it locked up. I picked it up yesterday from the second rebuild and today its like it getin stuck in between gears. So I'm takin it back tomorow. And yes I have cussed this place out multiple times. I'm pissed in away but in away I just don't even care anymore. The place has already lost money on having 2 rebuild it 4 free.

The warranty last 3 years and yea they are owning up to it. I called them the day it locked up and cussed the manager out and he still was nice and apologized when I went back. They paid for the tow truck and even put me a ugly a** aftermarket cooler on for free. They mounted it to the radiator and you can see it through the grill so I may move it. But no matter how nice they are this is rediculous. I think this time its just something about the torque converter.

Man, that all sucks bro. I'd be talking to the regional manager about this as well. Its not about how many jobs you can get in and out... its about how many QUALITY jobs you can get in and out. If they have rebuilt in 4 times in 2 weeks, and you have a 3 yr warranty, you could be looking at possibly 312 rebuilds (2 breaks a week * 156 wks). I doubt it would that many, or even close, but the potential is there. Good luck on the next trans

Well now I'm super pissed. I took it back today because it changes gears and revs up when it does it like its geting stuck in between gears. I know its transmission related but they said it was a fuel pressure problem. Which is bs. On my way home it ran a code for a solonoid that has something to do with the tranny. I don't remember the code but they ordered the parts and it should be in this week. They didn't say and I didn't think to ask if this solonoid would be causeing the problem. I guess ill find out if it fixes it next week when they replace the solonoid
