Get a free PDF of your window sticker
Maybe some (or most) of you folks knew this, but I just found this out. You can get a copy in PDF form of your original window sticker. It only goes back a few years, but it's worth a try for you. Enter this URL along with your VIN number, then paste into your web browser.
http://services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com /inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin= If the above does not work (older truck), use this one: http://www.kwford.com/look-up-window...n_mercury.aspx Enter your VIN it the box Substitute your vin number in the above link before you past it into your web brouser (use notepad to build the link, then past it in). UPDATE: If you get an error such as "file does'nt begin with %PFD-" , this means your data is no longer stored in Ford's database. They only hold a few years back from the current date. |
I could not get your link to work but found this one that did
