Decided I liked the look with out it

But I would like some sort of front tow hooks I know the OEM are the best but there around $80.

So I was wandering if these would be strong enough you use like hook up a d ring shackle to it. It's the old mount for the bull bar seems pretty solid

I would say it would be good if it didn't see a lot of abuse but the hole in the bracket isn't large enough to hang a big enough D-Ring through.

I'm not sure if the holes are spaced the same from 04-08 and 09+ but these are a lot better than 80$ http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Take-Off...46f0f5&vxp=mtr

The 09+ will work with the 04-08 but they sit a little lower profile. Still very usable. I have a set of chrome 09+ hooks on my 05. Just look around on eBay and the forum often, I think I got my chrome ones with hardware for like 40-50$. Pretty good for oem chrome ones

Front hitch is another option. I do agree that the truck looks better without the bull bar. I'm sure you could find a set cheaper, I just did a quick search

Yeah but the metal on those mounts isn't very thick as it is, so drilling the hole might only compound the problem
