FX cluster install in an STX

Found out dont need to have cluster flashed with as builts.. There is a wiring trick and I think it is just some pin swapping. Will find out tomorrow.

Now mileage is only issue. Soon as the buttons come in I will get to wiring them. Lariat here I come! LOL

if you find out any info please let us know, im very interested since i have a XLT cluster in my STX and wouldnt mind having my dome light back lol

Still working on it.... Seems the wire swap only works if you the EATC swap. humm Know there is still a trigger in and a trigger out wire... Now to find out which pin is each.... Did get the key chime unhooked. I will let you know more when I get more time to mess with it.

I have officially read about 20 pages worth of these cluster conversations and I just wanted to thank you guys for all the time you put into these builds....Will be updating my pro. soon. Hopefully with pics of an FX Cluster in my 2004 STX...Thanks Again!
