Default Fuses blow with bi-xenon

Good evening.

First post,i have been searching for a while with no luck. I got Hid bi-xenons and have an issue when i turn on the hi beams it blows the fuze in the cab. i have tried 15, 20 25 and 30a fuses. all blow. the wiring is correct. the grounds are good. i have tried the ballasts from the fog lights. and same issue. the company is going to send out new ballast to make sure.

btw its a 04 Screw fx4 with 5.4L 3v

Thanks guys

Are all your connections taped or covered? If not, your high beam wire could be shortin out causing the fuse to go. Take everything out, set it all back up and go over it off the truck. Tape all your connections and reinstall.

the fuse blows like half a second after i hit them. all wires came taped. one this i haven't tried was trying to wire the ground directly to the battery... think that would hurt anything?

I will try to take a picture tonight.

I just took a wire wheel and scratched some paint off hidden in the engine compartment and took a hex head self tapper and made that my ground. It works great.

If your fuse blows shortly after you turn on your highs it's a shorted wire.
