Default Fuel Tank Size?

Okay, I have done a few different VIN decoders and gotten a few different answers to this. I have a SuperCrew with a 5.5' box and I'd like to know how many gallons my tank will hold. I have heard 29, 30, and 32. Any of these right?

you haven't ever filled it up from close to empty? I thought for the 04-08 there were only 26g(like me scab) or 36g tanks. I would be interested to know from someone who knows for sure though.

Well, that's the problem, I have but it was we while ago and I forgot! I usually just try and keep it topped off because those $100+ fill ups get old QUICK!

Try and look up your window sticker at research maniacs. Mine has the optional 36 gallon tank.

Unfortunately, I've tried that and didn't work. Since mine is a 2004 it won't recognize the VIN, which sucks, because the only thing I don't have for my truck is the window sticker.

lol no doubt! If it costs more than$100 you can rule a 26g tank.

I have a 2006 super crew and it has a 30 gallon tank. I've only let it slide past half empty a couple times so the price of filling up doesn't kill me.

05 Screw with the 30 Gallon tank...but if i run it to almost empty...which I have only done 1 time...it put right at 32 gallons in it. I know that if I would have let it idle for 30 more seconds it would have been dry.
