I didn't get a look at mine, but being a 2005 in Michigan with salty winters, I'm ordering it now for peace of mind. Amazon $55 for the dorman! Autozone and oreillys want like $110 lol. What's another week to save $55?

I would bet yours will look just like mine did! The peace of mind is well worth the price of the part for sure.

What can I do to save my factory module as it still is in great shape? I know the new kit has washers and extra stuff.

I would just space it off the cross member like the new kit does with some spacers and longer bolts. I would also put a coat of paint on the metal part of the module.
