Yours is more likely related to the TPS DTC. I suggest for you to remove the throttle body from the manifold (4 bolts and 2 plugs) clean it real good using CRC throttle body cleaner ... re-install.. go from there.

I just finished checking mine and there was not just corrosion on the backside, the side that mounts to the frame, but the metal itself was punctured.
And it took no pressure to break that piece off
So I'm ordering a new one, but I have one question: will firing up the engine to move the truck around in the driveway hurt anything with this module in the condition it's in?
And it took no pressure to break that piece off

Checked mine today on my 2004
Lowered the spare and saw the module. Didn't look bad until I removed it and looked at the back. It had a large crater with a pin sized hole. I cleaned it up and layered black silicon as a filler/gasket and will reinstall it once it is cured. Also cleaned up the frame where it was rusted and sprayed some rustoleum. Glad I checked it because it would have failed.

Do yourself a favor...
I was going to wait until spring (or warmer, dryer weather), but my '08 had other plans. It quit just past a busy intersection. Advance Auto had the Dorman in stock for $101. I had a code for 25% off, so I picked it up the next day for $76. Plugged it in, and drove it home .

Fuel pump on after ignition is off......
Let me start with a vehicle description:
2006 F-150 5.4L 4x4 with 148k on it, purchased in 2008 with 26k.
This truck has been nothing but solid, no issues, no check engine lights, just the normal wear and tear items.......until Tuesday that is.
Truck sat for 5 days while I was out of town, thought i felt a slight little hiccup while driving to work that morning, didn't think much of it cause I had been driving a 2019 rental vehicle the past 5 days. Parked at work, came out to go home and check engine light was on. Pulled codes when i got it home with a handheld code reader, P0191 set current for fuel rail pressure sensor circuit performance. Started the google search and ran across this thread. Started reading through all of the posts about the FPDM and decided I would replace mine this weekend due to time and mileage and the code i had. Next morning, truck was completely dead, no crank, no lights, battery dead as a door nail. Got the truck jumped but it was in limp mode, I'm guessing due to the low voltage. I let the truck run long enough to charge the battery, shut it off and restarted it, no more limp mode. Drove to work with no problems, parked it started walking in and could hear the fuel pump running (found my battery drain!!), had to unhook the battery while at work. Decided to stop and grab a FPDM on the way home, crawled under the truck and sure enough it looks just like every other picture in here 2 dime sized holes in it, circuit board exposed and it stunk like burnt electrical. replaced the FPDM in less than 15 mins. So far i have not had any further issues, I wanted to post this just for the fact the no one else had mentioned a symptom of the fuel pump running after key off/engine off in this thread, I thought it might help someone in the future.
Thanks to all who have shared their repairs on here, big big help.
