Thanks for posting this Kozal01. Just installed mine today.
I hopped in the truck, took off driving, and the engine rpms kept ramping up and down by about 200 - 300 rpms. Then you come to a stop sign or light, and the engine would stall. Installed a new module, and things are back to normal running condition.

Default 2013 F150 Crank but won't start

My truck will crank but won't start. Checked fuse #27 and casing, all good. Called my brother and told him what it was doing and that i right fuel pump. He said the same thing. Could your issue be what mine is?

My truck is an 06 4.6 liter. When i had the issue, my truck eventually would crank, but no start. A new fuel pump driver module did fix the issue. The old module aluminum casing was pretty much rotted away from salt and weather. It was very easy to check by just looking at it. Two bolts and one electrical plug to deal with. It took me more time to drop the spare tire under the truck.

Mine module was located on drivers side of truck towards the front of the spare tire. Could not miss it. The only part that sucks is the cost of the module.

Add me to the list of module failures. Metal backing corroded all the way through, circuit board exposed. Shut the truck off, never able to restart. On my back in the snow, Dormann part in, running.

I just replaced the part, as I was in a driveway, so will re-install with spacers and hardware.

What are the symptoms of this issue? My truck fires...stumbles for a bit..then dies. Does this sound like this problem?

This problem can cause a lot of issues some weird and seemingly unrelated but yes anything that acts like a lack of fuel issue could be a FPDM issue IF you have a 04-08 5.4 three valve or I think the 4.6 V8 also has it. It is relatively easy to check. Just disconnect the battery, drop the spare, unplug the module, remove the two bolts holding it in place and check to see if the backside of the module is corroded.

Just tonight I was driving home from work and everything was fine, then I was going up a hill pressing the pedal to maintain speed and there was no acceleration. Pulled off and stopped thinking it was just a stall, turned key off and waited a few seconds, then tried to get the truck started and the starter motor cranked, but the engine wouldn't run.

Waited about 10 mins and tried again and the engine started and I was able to get back home without issue.

I have had the check engine light on for the P2135 code that deals with the throttle body position sensor, but I haven't had any issues driving since I bought the truck 6 weeks ago, the stall tonight was the first time. There's also been a rough idle, but once I hit the gas and start moving, it's smooth as can be.

Should I assume that the fuel module here is the issue that caused my truck to stall tonight or could it have been related to the P2135 code?
